A Million Drops of Rain

so i scored tickets to go see haley wickenhiser play on friday.

shes on u calgarys ladies team. the dinos. shes captain. and holy crap. amazing. one of the best hockey games i have ever ever seen. like for serious. and yeah, it was so good to see real hockey again.

we got tickets because the u winnipeg team invites 2 girls league teams to each home game and one of the moms from sonnets hockey team was in charge of selling tickets to her older daughters team. so we got them for 8 instead of 15 and they came with a hotdog, pop and bag of chips.

we had great seats. just behind the announcer and penalty boxes to the side of center ice. we were 4 rows up, just above the boards.

frick this. i'm getting out the sewing machine.

troy has 8 meals frozen for work, and i'll have more tomorrow after i rearrange the freezers downstairs. and bake. i have a bunch of baking to do. need to get off my butt.

we hit the library today and then i came home to a fandom full of wank and fail and flail. and now i have three books that i don't wanna read anymore because the authors are bitches and racist and wankers and ignorant asses. and i was excited about those books damn it. nice timing for s/f + f to go kaboom. so far the authors going kerplow are ones i havn't read or was just picking up. my favs are reacting in kick assed ways.

well i have my freebie dl-d copy (for serious free pdf version) of his majesty's dragon to read when i run out of books. i love love love love the books, and i can not wait for the next one. which is due to the publisher in august, so i can get my greedy hands on it around january i think. (omg that is far to long to wait for awesome dragons)

i made crock pot spaghetti tonight, and the tomatoes troy picked up have other veggies in them, which threw off the taste. sonnet loved it so, yay, but i was :( . i hate it when little things throw off the bigger stuff.

my neck is bugging me. sometimes i just feel like one muscle on my left side is overly tight and tense and owie. i needs a trip to the spa.

today we went out and mom finish off her xmas shopping. she got us a steam cleaner and a new vacuum. which i will break out tomorrow. omg steam cleaner!!! and she got the new crowded house cd for my dad, which means i have it now too. (mmmmmmm neil finn!)

tommorrow shes taking sonnet out to see madagascar 2. troy and i will probably stay home and .. have a late brunch *pervy-eyebrow-wiggle* or we'll steam the carpets.

mom goes home on monday. and shes taking xmas presents for dad, troys family, uncle dwayne, my grandma, and maybe mike and becky if i can get their stuff done tonight. (not likely i'm not having the best evening, and i have to finish moms and grandmas) and all the xmas cards for both families, yay for saving on postage!!

am dying waiting for the new FOB album. David cooks cd dropped on sat, and i want it bad. but FOB is just in my head all the time right now. cause i am crazy
